It's been so long since I've done my blog.I will try to do a better job...Our computer upstairs has been acting up...It's easier to use the computer upstairs...Ben gets into everything and I mean everything...There's less for him to get into upstairs...
Being with Ben this past year has been wonderful...It's amazing how much joy and love a baby brings into one's live...Right now he's our little chatterbox...He's constantly jabbing...Just in one week he learned; uh oh, turtle, kitty, up and bye bye...I just love listening to his giggles and his little chatter.
We took Ben strawberry picking today...What fun! He kept taking a bite out of a strawberry and then he would put it back in my box..He then would pick another berry, take a bite and put it back in by box...Needless to say, Ben was a strawberry mess...
It's hard to believe that Ben is going to be a big brother..This is a nice surprised..Ben's little sister or brother will be a January baby...I'll have two grand-children to love. The more the merrier..
Grayson, Sarah and John's little boy needs all the prayers we have as he's going through a lot. He has been having seizures...Please pray for his family and the doctors as they treat and monitor Grayson..

Almost a Year

It's so hard to believe that Ben is almost a year..Only a few more weeks..Boy oh boy does time fly...Ben just melts my heart to pieces...This has been one of the best years of my life...I so enjoy spending time with my little guy and seeing him every day..
I;m sorry that I haven't been keeping up with my blog..Life gets so busy and hectic..
Here's a pic of my most favorite little guy..He is such a happy little boy...He love going to daycare and seeing his little friends..A couple of times I have dropped him off at daycare...Once I bring him in he longer sees me...He sees all of his little friends and that's it...he loves babies and kids...
Well have a wonderful week...and enjoy your families...They are one of the most precious things ever...

Cody in Remission
Cody just finished his second round of chemo...He turned one last week while in the hospital...The best news yet is they did a bone marrow test and it came back that he was in remission...I truly believe that it is our answer to prayer..Cody has one of the worst kind of Leukemia that a child can have and six weeks later he's in remission.. We wanted to thank each and every one of you that held Cody in your prayers.. Please continue to pray for him as he continues to be monitor and do more chemo...Cody was able to come home this weekend for about three weeks..He has a nurse that comes in every day to check his vitals and do blood work, etc..He still has to do more chemo. I will keep everyone updated.. Again thank you everyone..The Lord does work in mysterious ways...

Spaghetti Dinner
On Tuesday, February 12th at 6:00 P.M. the PTO will be holding their annual spaghetti dinner at East Auburn School cafeteria. Again this year there is no set cost for dinner and instead donations will be accepted and encouraged!
This year they will be donating the money that they collect to a special little boy!
Cody Bryant-Oldham is eleven months old and was recently diagnosed with AML- Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This is one of the most difficult forms of childhood leukemia to treat successfully. He is likely to be hospitalized at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital for up to six months for treatment. His illness has created a financial hardship for his parents, Dana and Shannon Bryant-Oldham and we are hoping to help out with our donations.
Hope to see some of you there..
Cody had surgery yesterday since he had a crack in his line. The doctors replaced his line and shunt. Cody's hair is starting to fall out. The other day he touched his hair and some came out..Cody looked at it and said "oh!' The hospital's hairdresser will be shaving his hair so Cody will be a blad baby..otherwise he appears to be doing so much better.. Maybe we can get him some cute hats..
Thank you so much for all of your prayers...They have a long journey ahead of them.
